Interns are on campus for at least 10 hours a week for a full semester or entire school year, between the hours of 7:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
Limited evening or weekend availability for internship hours.
INTERNS SEEKING PLACEMENT:
Please complete the Internship Placement Application if you are looking for an internship placement with Communities In Schools of Central Texas and do not currently have a campus placement established.
If approved for our program, you may be given instructions from our Volunteer Coordinator for an interview with a Program Manager at a campus location. Following this campus interview you may receive further instructions regarding our required information sessions and training.
Complete & Submit the Internship Placement Application
Interns may not start on campus until they have completed a criminal background check, an application, and attended an information session.
After securing a Communities In Schools of Central Texas intern placement, all Interns must complete and submit the Internship Placement Application.
Please note: All Interns must either enroll as an AmeriCorps Education Award Intern or a Regular Intern.
